Foam free arches - For florists and freelancer wanting to achieve their visions of flowery ceremony installations, without using toxic floral foam.
Centerpiece compote arrangements - For anyone wishing to create an impactful floral piece for their home, office or event.
Styling a table with flowers - Using a range of floral techniques and different sized vases, we’ll talk about how to spread the floral impact around the table in gorgeous but highly functional ways!
Spiral hand tied bouquets - Learn how to build a bouquet for a wedding or everyday gifting and arranging, so that it is easily edit-able without falling apart in your hands.

Join us for a sustainable floristry workshop at Bellingham’s sweetest nursery. We’ll discuss & practice multiple foam-free techniques for building full, gestural arrangements, floral arches and hanging installations, and other common floral items.
We will be designing with 100% American-grown flowers, mostly locally-grown. You are welcome to bring your own vase or structure to work with.
Clippers, vase, and materials will be provided (including tape, wire & putty), and both snippers and floral pin frogs will be available for purchase.
Class will be in an enclosed tent at The Garden Spot Nursery so please dress appropriately to stay warm. Tea and light snacks will be provided!
